If there is a certain food that has all the nutrients needed by the body, it is milk. Milk has all the essential nutrients we need to live, with the exception of vitamin C. This makes milk a good substitute for food, and makes it good for children who have a bad appetite.
There are different types of milk depending on the animal it was from. Cow’s milk is the most popular. Other types of milk are that of goats, sheep, camels, reindeer, buffaloes, and llama. Some even drinks horse milk. The Mongols under Genghis Khan were said to have drank horse milk.
Milk is rich in calcium. This makes it good for the bones and teeth. It also contains a significant amount of fats. That gives us some energy for us to do our works.
Goat’s milk is said to be better than cow’s milk. It is because of the fact that goat’s milk contains more nutrients and is easier to digest.
Milk is a nutritious drink; however, not everyone could digest it. Some people are lactose intolerant, which means, they could not digest milk. It is said that most Asians are lactose intolerant. They could, however, drink specialized milk, which, by the way, costs more than normal milk.
